Non-Staining Primer for Non Porous Joints
SEALPRIME NP is a one component, colorless, non staining primer especially designed to secure adhesion for joints in non porous substrates. Composed of a moisture reacting organosilane in a mixture of volatile solvents, and additives to ensure overall wetting of the substrate.

SEALPRIME NP is supplied in 1 Liter metal containers.
Consumption:
150 linear meters for 100mm deep joint.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place and keep away from all sources of heat and sunlight. In a tropical climates store the material in air-conditioned rooms. The product maintains its stability for 12 months in unopened conditions and if stored as per recommendations.
Excessive exposure to sunlight, humidity and UV will result in deterioration of the quality of the product and reduce its shelf life.

Surface Preparation
The joint surface must be thoroughly dry, clean and frost free. Remove all dirt, laitance, loose materials and foreign matter from the joint faces. Remove all rust, scale and protective lacquers from metal surfaces. Remove all round or sharp edges and corners. The surface should be degreased using SOLVENTE 10.
A thorough wire brushing, grinding or sandblasting may be required to expose a clean and sound substrate.
Ensure that the substrate is absolutely dry before the primer is applied.
Mixing
SEALPRIME NP should be stirred thoroughly before application.
Application
SEALPRIME NP shall be applied to the joint faces prior to the installation of backer rod or bond breaking tape. Apply using clean, dust-free cloth or brush in a thin uniform coat. Avoid excessive application on ponding of the primer. Allow the primer to dry for a minimum of 10 minutes Re-priming is required it the sealant application gets delayed by more than 3 hours after application of the primer.
When applying the sealant, ensure adequate tooling force, so that the sealant comes in good contact with the primer.
For obtaining a clean and neat finish, masking tape should be applied on both the edges of the groove before applying the primer and shall be removed after the sealant installation is complete.
Cleaning
Tools used should be cleaned with SOLVENTE 10 immediately after use. Hardened material should be removed mechanically.
Recommendation

Do not apply near smoke or naked flame as it is highly flammable. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Protective clothing such as gloves and safety goggles should be worn during application.
Treat any splashes to the skin or eyes with fresh water immediately.
Should the product be accidentally swallowed, do not induce vomiting, but call for medical assistance immediately. Ensure adequate ventilation & avoid inhalation of vapors.
