COLBETOMO DPC is a membrane intended to provide a barrier to the passage of moisture or water through walls and floors, capable to withstand loads and dimensionally stable.

Shelf Life & Storage

Storage:

COLBETOMO DPC must be stored in a well ventilated, covered storage area away from any source of direct heat. Rolls must be kept in an upright position at all times. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of production if stored properly in original unopened packing.

Application Information

Instructions for use

The Installation must follow normal good practice for the detailing of Colbetomo DPC, as set in the relevant clauses of BS 5628: Part 32001. The following installation practices are essential:
Colbetomo DPC must extend through the full thickness of the wall or wall leaf, including painting applied rendering or other facing material and project beyond the external face by minimum 5mm.

Application Method

Loose laid / Torch on
Torchable overlapsIt must be sandwiched between an even bed of wet mortar and perforations in adjacent courses of brickwork must be completely filled with mortar.
All lap joints in the DPC must be a 100mm overlap and be completely sealed.
