Instructions for use

Surface Preparation
The surface of the substrate shall be sound, clean and uncontaminated.
This preparation shall be such as to leave a sound expose surface free from dust, loose particles and any deleterious matter. If the surface is defective or has laitance, it must be cut back to a sound base.
New concrete or cementitious surfaces should be at least 28 days old and have moisture content not exceeding 5%. Old or existing surface should be refurbished mechanically to ensure clear and sound substrate.

Priming
It is recommended to seal porous low-quality concrete surface with UREAPRIME EP1, a solvent-free, low viscosity penetrating epoxy primer.

Mixing
Stir the contents of the Component B container using a slow RPM stirrer. Avoid using a high-speed stirrer and introducing air into ARMATUREA BG.
Combine the Component A and the Component B at the specified ratio by weight and stir the combined product using a slow RPM stirrer.

Application
ARMATUREA BG does not require any specific application equipment. Pour the ARMATUREA BG onto the prepared substrate and spread using a brush, rake trowel, or roller. If a slip resistance surface finish is required broadcast QUARTZO graded aggregates into the final layer of ARMATUREA BG while it is still wet.

Recommendations

  • Before opening the product, remove the dust and other impurities around the lid in case those materials mix with the product.
  • The application site have to be ventilate, any smoking or fire source is prohibited at the application site.
  • Once the container has been opened all the contents should be used.
